I LOVE nails and DIY nail art designs :)

A little of my nail art background for you....I guess you can say my love for nail art began when my parents discouraged me from painting my nails because they felt it was a grown-woman kinda thing and that girls shouldn't be wearing nail polish. I couldn't even wear a CLEAR polish. But now that I'm older (23), I've realized they were totally right!

About my freshman year of college I started out small, using gel pens (do you chicas still remember those?), yeah  I used them to draw little designs on my nails: swirls, dots, candy canes, pumpkins, anything with the colors that I had. I would then seal in everything with a clear top coat to give my nails a pretty shine finish.

I loved this for a while but wanted to do more. That's when I went onto YouTube and searched for easy nail art designs and WHA-BAM! Instant love.
