Baby Footprint Nail Art

Hi chicas!
Are you going to be attending a baby shower soon? Try out this cute baby footprint nail art! :)
I've chosen to do my nails in 'yellow' since it's a neutral color if you don't yet know the gender of the baby. But if you do know the gender, you could easily switch the colors of this design to pink and blue :)

Baby Footprint Nail Art

Below are the nail polishes and tool I used to create my cute Baby Shower Nails with a pacifier accent nail and baby foot prints.
(L to R)
  • Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat
  • toothpick
  • NYC Taxi yellow creme
  • Kiss Nail Art White striper
Start off by painting all of your nails with a base coat to protect your natural nails from staining. Next, paint all of your nails with a soft yellow. I used NYC's Taxi Yellow Creme and did about 5 coats (really, because the polish is very light and wanted that solid color)

Baby Footprints!

Once the yellow has dried, using your toothpick and white polish, draw a backwards 3 and this the start of our baby footprints. Close up the footprint with a curve and fill in the footprint with your toothpick.

Then with your toothpick add 5 little dots for the toes. Repeat these steps to make another footprint but this time the footprint will be mirrored.

Done!
To the rest of your nails, add 3 white stripes going down the center using your white striper. Add a clear top coat to seal in your design and you're done!

I hope you enjoyed this Baby Footprint Nail Art :) Give it a try, I'd love to see your recreations!
