Easter Egg Nails #2

Hi chicas! :)

Check out my Easter inspired Easter Egg nails! I went with pastel colors since they seem appropriate for the occassion...

The Polishes :)
To create my Easter Egg nails :)
(L to R)
  1. Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top coat
  2. NYC Taxi Yellow Creme
  3. Sinful Colors: Pink Forever
  4. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear: Lacey Lilac
  5. Sally Hansen Xtrem Wear: Mint Sorbet
  6. Nail Art silver striper
  7. NYC: Matte Me Crazy (Mattifying Top Coat)

The Steps:
 1. Paint all of your nails with a clear base coat to protect your natural nail from staining. After that's dried, paint each of your nails a different pastel color as you like. I chose these colors since they're Easter-ishy colors and reminds me of colors you'd paint your Easter eggs.

Finished Easter Egg nails :)
2. Since I wanted to make the colors matte (removing the shine) I used a mattifying top coat. I got mine at Target for about $3 USD. Paint all of your nails with about 2 coats of a mattifying top coat.

3. After that's dried, take your silver striper and draw 3 horizontal lines going across each nail. I found it easier to keep the brush still on one end of the nail, and rotate your finger as your go. and you're done!!!

Please check out my Easter Egg Nails #1 which is a spin off of this design :)

I hope you all have a nice Easter with your families!

Until next time!!

~Alejandra~
